CCI Presents at National CBT Conference in Fremantle

The Australian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy held its national conference locally in Fremantle this year, bringing together clinicians, researchers, and academics from across the country to share the latest developments in cognitive behavioural therapy.

The Centre for Clinical Interventions team was proud to contribute to the program, presenting two symposia showcasing their recent work. One symposium focused on outcomes in group Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for bipolar disorder, highlighting promising clinical findings. The second brought together four papers addressing different emotions in clinical practice or training. The research presented will be prepared for publication in relevant scientific journals. The team thoroughly enjoyed engaging with colleagues and learning about innovative practices and emerging research in the field of CBT. It was a valuable opportunity to connect, collaborate, and continue advancing evidence-based psychological care.
