New CCI Resources to Help Navigate Health Information Online
As more people turn to the internet for guidance about their mental health, the Centre for Clinical Interventions (CCI) has released a series of new resources to help people carefully consider the quality of information they encounter online.
With the rapid rise of AI tools and the constant stream of content on social media, it has become easier than ever to access information, and harder to know what can be trusted. Relying on online information for health advice carries risks, including inaccurate information, oversimplified explanations, or content that may unintentionally reinforce unhelpful beliefs.
