Appearance Concerns
We have a range of other resources relevant to appearance concerns which might be helpful for your clients.
- If your client is highly preoccupied with specific features of their appearance and how to minimise or hide these perceived flaws, rather than just their appearance in general, then our body dysmorphia resources may be helpful.
- If your client's appearance concerns lead them to change their diet or exercise significantly, our disordered eating resources may be helpful.
- People with high levels of appearance concerns tend to view themselves in a negative light overall. Our resources for improving self-esteem can be helpful for this.
