Celebrating CCI Staff at NMHS GEM Awards
The North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) recently hosted its annual Go the Extra Mile (GEM) Awards, celebrating individuals who have made outstanding contributions across the service. We’re proud to share that CCI team member Amber MacLeod, Clinical Psychologist, was recognised as a finalist in the Rising Star category.
Amber’s nomination reflects the significant impact she has already made at CCI. Her achievements include developing and piloting a group treatment program for panic disorder, co-authoring a clinician training workshop on exposure therapy, and contributing to the creation of valuable resources for both consumers and clinicians. Amber’s dedication and innovation exemplify the spirit of the GEM Awards.
Also honoured at the event was Amanda Swan, Senior Clinical Psychologist, who was recognised for an incredible 20 years of service with NMHS. Amanda has been a cornerstone of the CCI team throughout her career, and we are fortunate to have benefited from her expertise and commitment over the past two decades. This marks Amanda’s second appearance at the GEM Awards, having been a finalist in 2023.
Congratulations to Amber on her well-deserved recognition as a GEM finalist, and to Amanda on her remarkable milestone. From all of us at CCI—thank you both for your dedication and excellence!
